Hello, how was your weekend? I hope it was relaxing and able to get you back and ready, for another working week?

Today we would be praying about the family.

He and all his family were devout and GOD-fearing; ……….. prayed to GOD regularly. Acts 10:2

It would be sad that has a child you come home and your parents tell you they are going their separate ways, or as a husband finding out that your wife is leaving, and as a wife vice versa.

It did be tragic for any family member to stroll into this, may none of us experience this in JESUS NAME. You can avoid this by praying.

All the men of Judah, with their wives and children and little ones, stood there before the Lord. 2 Chronicles 20:13

Let’s Pray for the Family.

1. Let’s pray that the JOY of the LORD will not end in our homes. The affliction of the enemy will be far from us.

May the GOD of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT you may abound in hope. Romans 15:13

When the bread winner of the home doesn’t provide, or the children are badly behaved and are always getting into one problem or the other (like addiction to substances), it brings sorrow to the home, and the family is drained of joy.

2. Let’s pray that GOD should help every family member function properly and be well behaved.

5And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning and offered burnt offerings, according to the number of them all. 6For Job said, “It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts.”  Thus Job did continually. Job 1:5-6

It’s not easy to put up with health issues, it can exhaust the happiness and finances of a family.

No evil will befall you, Nor will any plague come near your tent.

Psalm 91:10 

b. Let’s pray that our family members will all be in good health.

It is not good for a family to remain in one spot for so long, there should be positive changes every year.

3. Let’s pray against stagnation, that GOD should take our families to the next level.

But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. Proverbs 4:18 which says

Are you out there and you don’t have a happy home to pray about, and you are from a broken home or having issues in your home.

Pray that GOD should restore JOY back to your home and deal with every issue on ground.

I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you. “You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you. And my people shall never again be put to shame. Joel 2:25-26 ESV

Are you single hoping to have a family one day.

Pray that GOD should provide you with a good spouse, and HE would help both of you build a perfect home.

Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labour in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain. Psalm 127:1 NIV

"Houses and wealth are inherited from parents, but a prudent wife is from the LORD."                         Proverbs 19:14

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
