1 About a month later, King Nahash of Ammon led his army
against the Israelite town of Jabesh-Gilead. But all the citizens of Jabesh
asked for peace. “Make a treaty with us, and we will be your servants,” they
pleaded.
2 “All right,” Nahash said, “but only on one condition. I
will gouge out the right eye of every one of you as a disgrace to all Israel!”
3 “Give us seven days to send messengers throughout Israel!”
replied the elders of Jabesh. “If no one comes to save us, we will agree to
your terms.”

The people of Jabesh sent for help, and King Saul summoned all
Israelites and they did turn up and ruin the camp of the Ammonites...

Sometimes we go through tough situations and we bottle-up our
problems... Suffering deep down….
This is common with people with terminal sickness... Instead of
crying and let people pray together with them, they let the devil take
advantage of them.
18 “I tell you the truth, whatever you forbid on earth will
be forbidden in Heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in
heaven.
19 “I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth
concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you.
20 For where two or three gather together as my followers, I
am there among them.”

You should know that your battles in life are spiritual....
Many things take place in the spiritual realm before they happen
physically....
For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but
against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers
in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Ephesians
6:12
Always enlist people to pray for you, to defeat the enemy.
I was about my Doctorate degree and I put in poultry as one of my
courses, I didn't like the way the lecturer was handling the course so I opted
out of the course.... I didn't know you have to delete the course, by getting a
form for it, and which had to be done before examination period. As I applied
they told me it was too late....
I told my fiancée, friends and family to start praying for me and
when the result came out... My result didn't include anything on poultry...

We were involved in a strike action, the Vice Chancellor told us
to resume or we would get fired, my department refused to resume. The management
started firing and hiring. We got together, me and my co-lecturers and we
started praying... And at the end of it all we were hired back..
