The celebrations
have come to an end, the excess foods have reduced, and the freezer is becoming
to look like what we once knew. Those on vacation have now returned home, or at
least planning to. The festivities seemed to be one of the longest every year,
it seems to always run forever, and everyone wants it to last till eternity and
forget about school or work!
Has anyone looked at
the last two digits of the year! It’s “13”, an unlucky number! For people, who
believe in myths like, good luck and bad luck have a whole lot to deal with
this New year!
I had to get the
papers on New year’s day, as I passed by my Grandma’s house, I saw a small
group of people, gathered on the ground floor, the first thing that came to my
mind was, she was dead! Because everyone was looking really sober.
The police
had arrived at the scene, to inspect the situation. I moved passed the crowed
and asked my cousin, what happened? He said some guy got electrocuted, during
the night! It was someone they all knew.
A lot of things
happening here and there, and we need to do more than just behaving right or be
law abiding to get by every day. You need some spiritual backing! As you grow
physically by eating, drinking and exercising, growing skill wise by going to
school, reading books, attending trainings and many more. You also have to
improve in your spiritual life. Yes there is a God, with all the evil happening
all around, you should give it thought, there must be some kind of reason for
all this, (signs of the end time)
People do so many
things to be successful, and some or many do frivolous things like
“mind-control people” into buying their items to make more profit. For instance
the acts I hear of the entertainment industry, people in there joining some
cult to gain more power and fame, well I’m not so sure if it’s true, but if
they do have hands in devilish acts, it cannot affect me because, “HE that is
in me is greater than he that is in the world”. No matter where they get their
spiritual backing from, either it’s from India, after so much soul searching
and assuming their destiny, or use of astrology to figure what they’re meant to
do with their lives, their powers do not have anything on you as you stand with
Christ.
You have to decide,
where you want to stand, because Christianity is the true spirituality, the one
we serve, “CHRIST”, is the reason there’s a Christmas and an Easter, and HE
predicted all this end time happenings. I don’t know how much proof you need,
Christianity is the true spirituality.
You need the
spiritual to operate the physical! It’s about time you know this, you may be
born this way or that way, giving excuses for the way you live, but you were
meant for this “to serve CHRIST!”
Rom 8:38-39
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death,
nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor
things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other
creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ
Jesus our Lord.
There are only two
sides to the coin of life its either you choose #CHRIST or Satan…
